| Eventful day: Got up early this AM to hit the airfield with my father and had an opportunity to fly a piece of history. :) It is the Piper L4 "Grasshopper" used in WWII and although it appears antiquated and tame, this was actually one of the most feared unarmed recon airships. Quite a pleasure to fly. :)
As if that wasn't enough for the day, I caught wind yesterday that there would be a test and tune open at the Gainesville Raceway during another event they were holding, so I made the trip over to the track this afternoon and put her through the paces..... it has only further confirmed my efforts to produce "The Ultimate Street Z" as she laid down an 11.95ET at 124MPH on street tires and pumpfuel at 18psi of boost. The car is all there, even the extra battery in the back for the computer. I literally drove in, tech'd the car, and made this as my first and only timetrial pass of the day.
How many other Z32's are into the 11s on pumpfuel and street tires? ;-)
